Juice Recipes for DetoxKidney Detoxification or Kidney Detox as it is more commonly known is the process of removing unwanted toxins from the body and kidneys. Juice assisted Detox in essence is just a full body cleanse; by using our juicer we can create fantastic tasting recipes that can help us achieve a much healthier body. By consuming juices we will be replacing all the unwanted toxins with beneficial vitamins and enzymes that will help us function that much better.

There are three main organs that are generally the targets of Detox and I will take you through each of them offering you a variety of juice recipes that will help you. These organs are The Colon, Liver & Kidneys.

The Colon is the final visiting place for solid wastes before we excrete them. The best way to keep our colon in tip top condition is by incorporating more fibre into our diet, so make sure you stick to your 5 fruits or vegetables a day, something which will be incredibly easy to achieve once you have a juicer.

Sugar is also a major problem that can cause a variety of problems for your digestive system. Your best bet is to eliminate sugary foods from your diet. The only real sugar that will be beneficial to your system can be found in fruits and vegetables. This is called probiotic sugar.

What many people however don't realise is that there is years of build up of solid waste just sitting inside our colons and every so often it needs a good clean, incorporating Ginger Root or Fennel into your juices will work wonders if you are trying to keep your colon clean.

Carrot Juice is one of the best juices out there for colon detoxification. All you need to do is whack a few carrots into your juicer and juice away. These vegetables contain a whole load of Vitamin A which will keep your colon well lubricated. They are also high in fibre which will improve the flow of faeces through your system.

Juicing a combination of Apples and Pears will also work wonders for those that suffer from constipation.

To kick start your colon cleaning process I suggest you combine 4 carrots, an apple and a lemon. This simple and inexpensive recipe will work wonders for your system.

Of course you can go ahead and create your own detox recipes for colon cleansing, just try to include as much fibre as possible and a bit of probiotic sugar.

The Kidneys also require detox treatment every so often. The function of the kidneys is to act as a filter so that the body can absorb vital minerals and the unwanted toxins are discarded through your urine. If you notice that your urine has a slight colour to it or smells then this may be an indication that you need a detox. Of course juicing is the best way to do this because the kidneys will find it easier to absorb all the beneficial nutrients of the juice as there is nothing artificial added. Here are just a few example detox juice recipes that you can try.

Grape Juice is a fantastic source of potassium, which helps the kidneys reach the peak of their game. The Grape Juice helps flush out waste products from the kidneys such as Uric Acid. A single glass of grape juice a day can really help with detox process.

Another beneficial juice to drink for Kidney Detox is Cranberry Juice. This creates a chemical called 'Hippuric Acid' which again helps eliminate Uric Acid from the Kidneys. Add a splash of lemon juice to the juice for the best detox effect. Adding a bit of Ginger Root to your juice recipes will also be beneficial for a Kidney Detox.

The final organ that needs a bit of detox on regular occasions is the liver. This is the place where harmful toxins are broken down by your body. If these toxins are not broken down correctly there will be adverse effects on your health. This is one of the best recipes I have found if you are carrying out a detox on your liver.

This juice is best made in the morning. You simply combine 1 carrot, 1 Cucumber, a stick of celery and half a beetroot. Make sure you peel the beetroot and carrot.

Natural Ingredients are best for a detox as they don't contain any of the harmful toxins that you are trying to eliminate from your body.

I suggest that you experiment with detox recipes to find something that works for you, there are no real set rules on the types of fruit and vegetables that need to be used. Just follow some of the guidelines that I have highlighted above and you will be well on your way to a cleaner and healthier system.
